Email signatures, the easy way to promote your business!

Most businesses on average send out around 10 emails a day, that's 10 chances missed to promote your latest service or product! Email signatures are a quick and easy way to create a small advert with minimum effort.
Things that are a must in all email signatures are your logo, a link to your website and a short snappy hook line.
Your
logo will make your brand instantly recognisable and memorable
(providing you have a lovely logo that is!) and will help your
signature stand out. Why not make your logo a link to your website as
well.
A text link to your website is also a must. Your signature
is just providing a small snapshot of what you do. Customers will want
to know more so you need to lead them onto something, your website is
the perfect place. What's that I hear you say, you haven't got a
website? Don't worry, we won't send the heavies around to your house,
just go here to take the first step in getting a website.
Anyways, back to the email signature...
Any links in your signature should include Google Analytics tracking (something of which we at MyWebEdge can setup). This will allow you to measure the success of your signature so you can adjust and tweak as your going along.
Top
all this off with a nice hook line that will get your customers
scrabbling to your website, why not mention your lovely new service, or
a whopping discount on your products. Anything that will make your customers hungry to know more.

memorable and create something that will lead people onto your website
with ease.
You've now made the first steps to creating a
successful email signature but there's some things to remember, no one
likes a massively obtrusive signature so to keep the visual space the
whole thing takes up small.
Also, creating a huge signature with lots of images opens you up to get blocked by spam checkers so keep image file sizes small.
That's just the minimum, why not include phone numbers, links to your social networks, whatever you like.
